Barcelona star Neymar said he was not "annoyed at all" at being substituted against Eibar after teammate Lionel Messi apparently decided he would rather continue to the pitch.
With Barca already 3-0 up in the rooms at the Camp Nou, Luis Enrique had appeared regarding set to substitute Messi, with the club preparing for Tuesday's Champions League clash with Ajax and Saturday's La Liga clasico at Real Madrid
However, the Argentina international appeared to point that he preferred to remain within the pitch, and the coach instead sent on youngster Munir El Haddadi rather than Neymar with quarter-hour of the game left to have fun with playing.
The Brazil international, 22, told a news conference ahead of the Ajax match he completely accepted what had happened, especially as Messi needed just one goal to equal the all-time La Liga goalscoring record.
"It wasn't annoyed at all," Neymar said. "I recognize that Leo is making history and, as a fan of his, I feel at his side. This forms part of football. You cannot always be regarding pitch."
Neymar, who has scored nine goals in nine domestic and European games for Barca this season, admitted to feeling happier and other settled now in the second season in the Camp Nou.
"I don't know if this is a new version, but Towards the gym more at home, happier, and view that on the pitch," he acknowledged. "All this is helping for my level to be more effectively. The coach, the players -- all this, when you put it together, something good comes out. You'll find no weight off my shoulders. I do not know what is different -- maybe the understanding of the team. I am enjoying myself noticeably."
Neymar's goal at Paris Saint Germain in Barca's last Champions League outing could not prevent them slipping in order to 3-2 defeat, but he said he was confident the c's could bounce back with three points against Ajax.
"It will be very difficult, but we always play to win," he explained. "We must do well to claim the three points against a team who play well. We know all about them, their strong and weak points."
Neymar said the imminent arrival of Luis Suarez into the attack was specific lead to "important things" happening.
"The three individuals together can do a lot of things," he said. "Leo is the the best in the world, and if you add Suarez to that then we can do possibilities for Barca. She will come in very hard, very strong and add good items. What happened with [biting Italy defender Giorgio] Chiellini is already in the past."
